Rob's coming out song... although no one caught that initially (until it actually happened) from the lyrics. Strange.

Story behind the song
This song was pretty loosely recorded. Rob had Matt get on the drums and make a drum track on the fly. Matt possibly hadn't even heard the song before, but pulled it off pretty damn well. Rob did the guitar and vocal tracks immediately after, but the bass wasn't added until several years later (when Rob was compiling all the Irony recordings that were floating around). Yay for technology!
Lyrics
Letters I could've sent But what really more could I say? I can't live with this lie anymore And I won't, at least not after this day As I walk away from you It's what I do, cuz I see you just fine As I walk away from you It's what I have to do, cuz I just want to survive Now I hope that you can still love me Just as much as the person I tried to be This is who I really am Try to understand it, if you can... As I walk away from you It's what I do, cuz I see you just fine... As I walk away from you It's what I have to do, cuz I just want to survive
