To capsulize the story, I was in Montreal on vacation, basically. I went Friday and would leave Sunday at around 8pm. I had a GREAT time seeing the city Friday and Saturday, but didn't get ANY sleep. Until me and Hailey woke up on Sunday...at...8pm.

catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
Ok, so Hailey tells me 'It's 8pm!' and I'm like, "WHAT?!?!". I had to rush to meet my friends (they thought I was dead) and we had to leave right away. I felt cheated, I guess I cheated myself. haha. But I did have a good time in Montreal, I would love to move there (even if Hailey moved). The city is amazing, I'll never forget it. Anyway, I chose to document the day we slept by writing this song. Aptly called, 'The Disappearing Day'. This songs for you Hail, all the way in the 'Couv.
Lyrics
Smiles frozen on our faces heads lay on our pillow cases Life is buzzing all around us no one here to wake us so we'll stay in the disappearing day The dogs in the park are laughing while we dream away our afternoon who needs a Sunday anyway? Not you Not you Where on earth did all the time go? doesn't really matter anyway if we never woke up I just wonder what the papers here would say here they lay in the disappearing day.
