Lyrics
Your words pierce me like a heated dagger Break down the walls I built and fortified Unable to stand, I can only stagger You make me second guess who I am inside I've gotta get out, I've gotta escape I've gotta get away from this place I'm feeling alone, abandoned and hurt With my face firmly planted in the dirt I'm coming undone, I'm gonna break free To the One who knows and loves me He'll lift me up, erase all my sin And put me on my feet again… You constantly tell me you are listening But doesn't that involve hearing what I say? The fire in your eyes is glistening I wish it would die out, if only for today Every time I fall, You are there to pick me up Every time you fall, He'll be there to pick you up Every time we fall, He'll be there to pick us up Every time, every time
