Some critics say "You can't play original songs...no one knows them...they won't listen" Well my downloading friends on the net prove this to be wrong.

Randy G-Solo Acoustic Guitar-Harmonica Like to play song mostly related to trying to make this world a better place to live in.
I'm an solo acoustic guitar/harmonica player. I'm interested in introducing my original material to a broader audience then my living room! I've played with several bands over the last 25 years or so. Sally and I are currently involved in a band called 4Way....loosely based in Punxutawney, other members are Mike and Jeanie Kurtz. In September 2011, I was been asked to fill in for Jessie DeChurch in a high profile Classic rock band in the Punxutawney area know as Mid-Life Crisis. Jesse is having some health issues that hopefully are temporary, but the Musicains in this band are EXCELLENT! Mike Kurtz on bass, John Keeley on keys, Dave Buzard lead guitar and Phil Cushing on drums. Follow the Mid-Life Crisis news and schedule by looking up the band name on Facebook.

Story behind the song
Critics who refuse to make decent attempts to make their own music.... Note of thanks to Doc & Paul from Vi's who inspired the last verse of this song!
Lyrics
They say nobody's out there To listen to my song I'm setting out to prove that Those critics are all wrong I hope it won't take long They say you've got to know someone To make a song that's good Or you'll be left like a derelict In a barren neighborhood I don't think they should Easy Money We're all lookin' for easy money Yes! The other choice in the music biz Is cover songs galore You belt them out with harmony But the fact is they ain't yours That's the truth for sure So you look for avenues of thought Expressions from your life Try to focus on assertiveness Want to put away the strife I want to shine a light Easy money It's all about easy money Maybe! When we get onto the stage We're ready for the show Playing singing from the heart We really have a ball We want you all to know So if the song is well received I feel so satisfied And if you don't like what you hear I'll still play it till I'm fried And I may not make a dime Easy money Don't matter 'bout easy money No! Easy money Don't matter 'bout easy money No!
