Focis (26) Hip Hop artist/producer from Detroit, Michigan. Focis is signed to and is the president of independent production company Facemusic (Detroit, Chicago, Tokyo) and has released two solo albums, Still Dreaming (Dirty Redd Records) and Oxygen (Forsite Prod). In November 2006 Focis released “New Tokyo Mixtape” featuring Swizz Beats, Zeebra, Aloe Blacc (Stones Throw) and many more Japanese and American artists. Focis musical style can be compared to others from his region like Jay Dilla (RIP), Slum Village, Common, Kanye West.
