i was waiting around about an hour for ya, friend and the texas weather's breaking heat records again and i'd be impatient but man, its really been a while all i remember is that you smirk but never smile. and its fifteen degrees above average and the humidity is off the charts and those not sweaty in their houses are the few of us sweaty in our cars i think i make my life awful so i'll have something to write good thing you know what i mean cause i could elaborate all night but that's the thing, we're on these same and different paths just like i take my showers when the birds are taking baths and i think alot of kids are really made of glue 'cause they're always looking for someone new to stick to and alot of kids juggle these giant hearts of stone they end up married cause they can't carry them alone i was lying on your bed fighting back the urge to scream i knew that i would kiss you if i didn't do something when we're alone i can feel it in the back of my heart when we're with others it tends to set you apart and its fifteen degrees above average and the humidity is off the charts and those not sweaty in their houses are the few of us sweaty in our cars
