Story behind the song

In my hometown of Miramichi we are known more as a "River" than a City, Economic regression has been a practice here for several hundred years.
My room overlooks this River and no matter where else I have resided I kept that River in my dreams. Thus the title "River Of Blues" and anyone who has ever lived here will attest to that.
