On the surface, a song about a storm - in reality, a tribute to the late, great John Entwistle.

All original rock and roll, in many different flavors and textures....
A year has now passed since we chose to experiment with marketing our music through channels such as iTunes, Napster, Amazon and others. As this experiment has convinced us that keeping our day jobs was indeed a very wise idea, that album will no longer be available after April 24, 2009. It's for that reason that we've re-enabled downloads for all our music on here - if you like what we've done, feel free to download it and add it to your collections.

Story behind the song
While playing with the EQ on my new Jazz bass, I was able to get a sound like Entwistle's trademark tone. I put this song together as an homage to how influential he was in my choice of the bass, as well as the style I eventually developed. This version is the final, with Al's vocal in place.
Lyrics
Clouds are rolling in, sky's turning gray Wind is picking up, thought I heard someone say I hear the thunder I hear the thunder I think it's gonna rain tonight Lights have all gone out, we're left in the dark Dog is in his bed, too frightened to bark He hears the thunder He hears the thunder I think it's gonna rain tonight Sky is torn apart by an eye piercing flash Followed close behind by a monsterous crash The sound of thunder The sound of thunder I think it's gonna rain tonight Clouds are rolling in, sky's turning gray Wind is kicking up, thought I heard someone say I hear the thunder I hear the thunder I think it's gonna rain tonight
