The Truck Stop Commandos formed in 2005 in Austin, Texas, due to the fact that nobody was making the kind of music they wanted to hear. Rock and Metal were starting to get stale and formulatic...either uber-serious crap trying to be hard-ass, or angry, violent pap hiding behind weak writing and generic riffs. Humor was needed. Stories were needed. Ass-kicking was needed. So, putting all of their influences in a fucking pot, they stirred up a cauldron of Monster Movies, comic books, Sci-Fi, horror, humor, metal, kung-fu and immaturity into one unique cocktail of doom. The rest is history!
