Story behind the song
The original lyric to this song is about a wild rose bush. Knowing that will help everyone to understand the meaning of the song yet it can have different meaning to any individual that has experienced loneliness, silent yearning, and solitude. The song was written on a bench at a local beach. It was an overcast day during the workweek so the beach was pretty much empty except for me and the wild rose bush sitting in front of me almost as if on bended knee. I hope you enjoy listening to this song and appreciate the unselfish beauty that the wild rose shares with us all over the world.
