Story behind the song
Larry Bisbee wrote the lyrics for the song while working on the produce docks at Pacific International Cooling in Yuma, Arizona.
He teamed up with Jim Littlefield and Margaret Arsenault, award winning musicians and songwriters from Maine, and promoted the song thru Countryfolk Music that Bisbee operates in Maine and Arizona.
All three of these talented country artists volunteer at the Maine Countryfolk Music Theatre that supports Youth Music Scholarships, traditional country, folk, gospel and blugrass music every summer.
They are also involved in the Countryfolk Film Project, by "PIGNOSE" Productions,entitled "BAREFOOT COUNTRY GIRL", a country music feature-length film project.
