It came off as a Waylon Jennings sound although I did not intend it to.

Jim Colyer Band is a free-wheeling, ever-changing thing. Members come and go. The one constant is my catalog of songs. I do some of the lead vocals but employ females as I write lots of girl songs.

Story behind the song
My mother showed me an article about the death of Krissy Taylor, the 17-year-old sister of supermodel Niki Taylor in 1995. It was my mother's idea for me to write this tribute.
Lyrics
KRISSY Krissy, you were the one with the angel smile A 6-foot beauty, a woman and a child Even though you're gone You still live on You live on in our hearts And in our dreams In our dreams Krissy, you were a queen of the fashion world A country music fan, a redneck girl Cruising in your Chevy truck Line dancing in your jeans You live on in our hearts And in our dreams In our dreams Krissy, we're going to miss you You know how much we love you Krissy, your memory goes on and on solo Krissy, you could charm the stars, hypnotise the moon A natural girl, fresh as the month of June Even though you're gone You still live on You live on in our hearts And in our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams
