Story behind the song
This is actually a remake of a version I recorded about 5 years ago, but I lost the project files for it in a system crash. All I had left was a bad mix on cassette, and even that had dropouts in it. Somehow found the drum track midi file for it just after I purchased my GNX2, fired it up and went for it. The inspiration for the title and theme of the tune is kinda funny, played a rough first draft for a buddy and he said, "Oh I like the "drowning chicken" sounds in the beginning!" So there I went, imagining this drowning chicken while I recorded the leads...Poor chicken didn't make it in the end though, I'm sorry to say. And that is how Drowning in Digital came to be. Enjoy... ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Gotta give credit to the Dark Lord Animus for the title, thanks m8. Also must give thanks to Mr. Miller for his bass guitar track, excellent job Finally, to all my family and friends...You keep me balanced and I love ya for it. :)
