Story behind the song
I've always wanted to write a seasonal song. The first line's had been in my head for a week and the rest followed from that.
Lyrics
December's here - another year remembered by its passing. You write to friends - it all depends on who has done the asking and next year: we'll finally find our way. No fear of taking time, we'll live like it's the smallest day of the year. When winter's gone we'll carry on and live life by the day. When daylight's wide and we're beside the road that leads away until next year: we'll finally find our way. No fear of taking time, we'll live like it's the smallest day of the year.
