MaddWest: Formed in the Midwest, Sammy Brazil and Kool Ace Ha moved to California after landing a recording contract with EMI label 2K Sounds. The label changed ownership in early 2003 and MaddWest requested and was granted their release from all legal obligations to 2K Sounds.
