dear momma here is a song for you wipe your tears and smile after everything you been through you were the inspiration and the ultimate truth so here is my song to say i love you x2 --- through thick and thin mom you stayed strong within and on the outside you never once gave in you were the cornerstone and the hard working foundation the head of household for this new generation of kids who grow up never knowing their dads you raised two boys by yourself and never looked back you sometimes worked two jobs just so we could get by sometimes didnt eat yourself but made sure we ate right you worked every job possible as a double minority being female and asian was not a fairy tale story yet you continued to work as the pre cinderella in hopes that your children could become like rocafella we pissed you off constantly with our stupid ass acts joining gangs doing drugs and tapping plenty of ass but you still fought on when we looked shit outta luck and now thats why our family can start to finally look up chorus every night you prayed for God to pave the way but when things remained the same you still kept the faith and in hindsight i realize He mustve been there giving you strength through hard times and making you still care in order for you to continue to move right on along you worked many jobs and the hours were very long you was a janitor, a peddler, and a truck driver too you was a owner, a worker and then still you collected papers and cans to recycle for change did many other jobs that would drive a normal person insane you were an acupuncturist to help make other people strong you were also a hair stylist making others pretty in a beauty salon you then sold houses and real estate to make us a living at the same time you was a mother that made life worth living you were everything you could possible be on this Earth you were everything to me and mikey ever since birth chorus mom now look up cuz we gonna be on top we on top cuz never did you ever stop you continued on when all odds were against you you are the ultimate SURVIVOR that no one ever knew mom you can rest now and go on a small vacation you served enough time under our incarceration being trapped with two little devils of frustration yet the whole time you remained very very patient you taught us things a fatherless child would never know you worked double time to serve both parental roles you taught us to respect women each and every times you taught us to respect each other and start to shine mom you are everything to us and i thank God that you were sent you made two strong men from two small baby infants even though at times it might not seem to go through i want to make it clear that mom we love you
