In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Lyrics
I Can't Dance (That's Why I'm With The Band) Charles W - T Consaul 1. A pretty little thing Shook and started to swing Right in front of me I stood being lazy While she looked like I was crazy Said "You're Not Much Company!" I shrugged my shoulders When she tried to get bolder "I don't know what you've got planned" "But I can't dance" "You know that's why I'm in the band" C: I could step on your toes Or put runs in your hose Until you finally give up on me I could Shake like a rabbit Or stomp like a bear Till everybody on the dance floor leaves Or you could find somebody Who can keep his feet Before this whole thing gets out of hand I can't dance, You know that's why I'm with the band 2. That Saucy little number left me Like I was dumber than a One eyed, Day Old Potato So I walked like a man To the Old Band Stand And I sang one to that Tomato I sang out loud And I sang out clear Till she looked up, Like I planned I sang her, "I can't dance" "You know that's why I'm in the band" C2: I could flap in the breeze And put scars on your knees Until one of us calls it quits I can handle a crowd I'm not proud, I'm just loud But as a dancer, I'm the Pits! I respect your desire To fight fire with fire With your very own personal brand But I can't dance You know that's Why I'm with the band First Chorus Repeat Last Line (Take a couple of steps) (Make it look hopefull) (Fall down) (Get up like you did it on purpose) (Brush Yourself Off) (Do a Marcel Marceau and sweep up the spotlight)
