In late Novemer 03 three guys arranged a jam in a damp wet cellar in Luton. To everyone's surprise they began producing music that not only sounded good, but also a little different to everything else around. With the introdution of a bass player, and songs coming together faster than they ever expected, it began to fall into place. As the band continued writing the sort of music they wanted to hear, it began to evolve beyond self indulgence and into something a little more special. They realised that they needed a greater more powerful sound, introducing vocalist Jon Morris (Ex Silent Demise) who after 30mins of roaring and serenading, impressed them so much they wanted him in. The unfortunate departure of their bassist dented their determination, but Ian, Jerome, Jon And Nick pushed on with new ideas and the search for a replacement. Along came Zi who added a further dimension to the band, amazingly playing a gig with us after only 2 weeks in the band! Due to work commitments though, Zi felt he couldn't continue, so friend of the band Al Edwards was bought in. Hopefully this time they've found a bassist who will stay. With songs that veer from walls of noise to intricate technical guitarwork all the way through to haunting melodies and soft acoustic passages the band began to take its current shape. Combined with a devastating and epic live show, Alpha High has truly lived up to the hopes of all involved. With drive and ambition, the sky's the limit....

Lyrics
Throw me to the wolves my demise probably won't bring a tear to your eyes you always said that I should live life like I'm running from the pack a broken dream can barely lend itself to a breaking day but sometimes lingering traces remains and sometimes thoughts and fleeting looks can speak louder than words this is my final chance to save you from yourself and this is my final chance to climb out of this hole I've built myself through fears and reason now I'll cleanse my soul with fire sometimes I think that my sin has become too great to be justified but waking up for the first time I realise that sometimes thoughts and fleeting looks can speak louder than words well now the time has come for all our hopes and dreams to be weighed against every fucking plastic smile cos every scar you have is repeated on my skin a thousand incissions like a map of my failure
