Where do the birds go to when they leave me? Why, Planet X (ex) naturally.
psychedelic boston music psychedelia boston rock oliver towne british band boston based
Psychedelic, Dark, Brooding, British. Noises and saturated effects. Rich Harmonies.
Actually, we're a British Psychedelic band that got stuck in Boston. You see our drummer bought the tickets, and his cockney is so thick they misunderstood him and gave us one way tickets. We decided to stay here at least until we get deported, because the last time this happened we were stranded in India for 3 months, and I am not going to use my own money to bail out these blighters again. I do not actually write the songs, they write me. I am just a vessel for the creative flux of the universe. I hear colours. I live on a deeper plane than most people, so the spirits just use me as their representative. --Oliver

Lyrics
Out there at the edge of space an unknown and uncharted place she's built her new starbase on planet X Planet X. . . Out there in the Universe Her voice was cold, her words were terse therein lies the curse of Planet X Floating in the skies above the worst thing I was thinking of there is no love on Planet X. . . Planet X. . . She said goodbye and no return and stepped onto that Astral ship I stood and watched the afterburn As she began her final trip To Planet X. . Far beyond the warming sun With nothing but a laser gun life is not much fun on Planet X Not to teach and not to learn away from me her world will turn makes my stomach churn, this Planet X Planet X. . . No Gravity, No atmosphere A trillion miles away from here It's alien, and queer, This Planet X Planet X. . .
