This was written for a female country style singer (Dolly Parton 'll do, but I don't know where she lives).

A Scintillating nimbus
Now a miserable old git, hair growing out of places it once didn't and not in places it once did; Autumn approaching... What's the point I still ask myself? To be on my own planet? To want to share? To relieve my frustration? To attempt to counteract- in some minute way- the doctrine that Socialism, as a valid political and economic theory is impotent? Things have changed since I first collated this page. The bubble burst, but instead of attempting to right the inequalities created over the previous three decades- the haves are still getting richer at the expense of the have nots. My band is called 'The Peppermoths'.

Story behind the song
Just wanted to write a song about the fact that it may not be too late to change the course of your life.
Lyrics
Indian Summer Honey dear Oh honey dear! Your ashtrays full and you’re out of beer And I’m running out of steam It ain’t turned out to be the dream I had in store when you carried me through the door It may sound crass but all the birds were singing Loved seemed eternal but now I’m thinking of Taking advantage of that Freudian slip Taking no notice of your bullying lip To take a chance upon a skinny dip The sea feels warm once you’re in Swapping those Panda eyes for loving arms Swapping those needless lies for magical charms The offers there so why not take it now An Indian Summer is here Why stay here Oh why stay here The kids have grown up and gone and we’re Always living in the past The fading photos of when we last Kissed, I mean really kissed All the chances that we missed While you got high High Is it so High Je t’adore Je t’adore Mais au revoir honey I’m out the door The stars entice above rotten eves He’d seen the signs but wouldn’t believe That I would go I wish him luck am I bitter no It may sound crass but all the birds are singing Love’s eternal that’s why I’m ringing you Chorus Taking advantage of that Freudian slip And no notice of that bullys lip To take a chance upon a skinny dip The sea feels warm once you’re in No matter what the past is gone But time’s racing on The love I had was crushed the crunch lingers on Now I’m wiser with my eyes open wide In the hope that I’ve turned the tide Chris Whitty aka 3gGene/Fezz
