Story behind the song
The Neighborhood is about Amir's neighborhood and i have no parts in the whole song except the voice my acoustic guitar is spitting. - Nick The neighboorhood is sarcastically dealing with how people try to be who they aren't and can't really follow through with what they plan. Also it's about how worthless I feel ignorant people are. So the story is... my so called friend Chuck changes his name to Ice Dawg because he just started hanging out with Mexicans and he decides to do a drive by on my ass because I told him that Dawg is really spelled DOG. Needless to say he sucks at being a gangster (but is there really such a thing as a talented gangster?) and he shoots my neighboors instead of me because he is a moron. Smoke the pot cool you are not. Do the booze and you loose. - Amir
