I wrote this at the end of junior year. It's a song about Cherry Hill. I think anyone who lives here may be able to relate, if only a little.

Name: Jeremy Blum Nicknames: Blummer, JB, JAB, Shoryu Crew: Nerds While AZN Nationality: Half White, Half Asian (you figure out the exact mix) Biggest Musical Influences - Mike Shinoda, Tiger JK (of Drunken Tiger), Tablo (of Epik High) I started rapping in 2003 years ago, mainly because I really loved hip-hop and wanted to try creating my own musical works. I quickly found out that I had a knack for it, and I also discovered that I loved making music and sharing it with the world. I originally began rapping with my crew, Nerds While AZN (if you haven't already, you should check our group site out @ soundclick.com/nerdswhileazn) but since then I've mostly done solo work and have finished three mixtapes on my own. I hope you'll enjoy my music, find something that you think sounds tight, and come away with a few favorites. Thanks.

Lyrics
Blummer - CH Thoughts (chorus) yo, my feet were sliding over rocky concrete while my head was bobbing to a musical beat walking sidewalks, hallways, class to class Sundays it was church, my friends went down to mass thinking deep thoughts as i walked from school saw some Asians in Breakers that i knew shooting pool contemplations of life always crossing my mind and only a smirk to show that the world is mine i was passing by when i thought of a rhyme of sorts to the rhythm of bballs being dribbled in the courts pulled out a piece of paper, scribbled it down didn't want to lose this vibe before i crossed into town then i walked through the doors of CH East you could probably argue it's the place i like the least but its got some good memories and people i know in these last couple years, everyone's had to grow it's funny to see them, you know how they change he was my best friend in Beck, you might know his name we used to chill at lunch with the kid who first called me Blummer and spray Pepsi on the floors of the dances in the summer this kid, after six years, got himself a girl drinkin' 40s on weekends, he always hurls before puffin' on a bong like the king of the world man oh man, what a freakin' crazy world then there's this other dude, he really came up cool four years ago, they dissed him, calling him a fool but now he's rocking black Timbs, shades, and bandana and god, he's got more jewels than Juelz Santana at third period, you know, i see the honors kids half of us got stuck competing for first dibs on what, it kinda makes you sit down and wonder if we're stuck in a system that picks people asunder some folks got ahead in middle school real good they're way up there, can't hope to get as far as they could and if i see another person cry 'cause of a test i swear i'm gonna wonder if this is really for the best (chorus) stopping at my locker, school's about to let out heard there was a fight at 8th, must've been a real bout some cocky guy called a Korean a gook and a cofo and the Korean, he straight up ninjafied that mofo i'm leaving school now, but i'll pause to say hello to this kid who cuts math daily, keep it on the low look, it's the track team, laps around the pen coach had me run hurdles once, ain't doing that again and wow, when we were juniors, we all quit the team oh well, we'll always be known as track slackers supreme hey, there's a graduate, how you getting by Penn's pretty fun and you're keeping things fly? i remember our times, they were mad fun used to play you in SC, DTs had you on the run now i'm moving to the bus and i see one of my friends hooking up with her ex, uh, they're making amends lovely how relationships can turn good from sour betcha this'll be up on Xanga by the next hour i'm thinking deep thoughts on the bus ride home today's Friday, it's the weekend, shame to spend it alone Asians, over at the KUMC and the Jews, you'll only find them at the JCC c-notes spent in C-town, when days are a bummer BBQs and trips to Philly, that's how you know it's the summer this place ain't the best, but for now it's my home these Cherry Hill thoughts, they got my mind in the zone (chorus) (x2)
