Casual, smooth song where I talk about how I got into rap and relate a little bit of personal history. It was amazing how fast I churned this sucker out; the whole song-making process only took like 45 minutes here.

Name: Jeremy Blum Nicknames: Blummer, JB, JAB, Shoryu Crew: Nerds While AZN Nationality: Half White, Half Asian (you figure out the exact mix) Biggest Musical Influences - Mike Shinoda, Tiger JK (of Drunken Tiger), Tablo (of Epik High) I started rapping in 2003 years ago, mainly because I really loved hip-hop and wanted to try creating my own musical works. I quickly found out that I had a knack for it, and I also discovered that I loved making music and sharing it with the world. I originally began rapping with my crew, Nerds While AZN (if you haven't already, you should check our group site out @ soundclick.com/nerdswhileazn) but since then I've mostly done solo work and have finished three mixtapes on my own. I hope you'll enjoy my music, find something that you think sounds tight, and come away with a few favorites. Thanks.

Lyrics
Blummer - FOLLOW THE FLOW (chorus) yo, just follow the flow or take it down to the floor ride a beat, make a rhythm see the crowd ask for more clutching a mic so tight in my grip the static you hear's from the spit on my lip yo, just follow the flow or break it down to the floor bust a move, roll a rhyme see the crowd ask for more clutching a mic so tight in my grip the static you hear's from the spit on my lip yeah, started out with the bboy beats and ish first time i heard a record scratch i was like "what's that swish?" but soon i got it, learned the four elements and started droppin' bombs, making impacts like elephants breakin', rappin', scratchin' and graffiti my earth, wind, water, fire, yo, i'm keepin' it seedy representin' the culture, the movement, the magic whippin' out tricky stuff like Inspector Gadget started out with pop rap, i will confess but then time travelled back to check out the best PBNJ for lunch--Pac, Big, Nas, and Jay then went overseas, Drunken Tiger joined the fray hella lotta rhymes, had a lotta good times gained a verbal arsenal big as a buncha gold mines meanwhile, folks were keystyling back in 8th grade didn't do it much, didn't think i'd make the grade but it was kinda funny to see the e-thugs fight when every other line ended with "your mom" and "last night" i didn't take the spotlight, but kept it quiet waited for my own time to shine and start a riot year or two passed, messed with beats wrote a few stanzas, nothin' too complete but when i wrote my rhymes, it was like "wo ai ni" 'cause the feeling i was feeling was like dopamine (chorus) around the time of good old junior year a bangin' idea with Hiren, my Indian peer Nerds While AZN, you know them, uno and two and tres, better than that dude Tai Mai Shu a perfect venue to see what could be done with rap opportunity was waiting, i jumped into its lap and soon we took off, moving fast like a tour Jun, me, Jeff, the Asian dogs of war kamikaze style, diving right into a beat like suicide missions, generating nothin' but heat Cheatin', Your Life, then took 'em to church then came Warrior, peeps said they were feelin' my verse and it was funny, 'cause i'm not good at science but my chemistry with the mic, it's more than a science the rest is history, like that album by Jin look how far we've come, inspiring our kin but still some cats like to talk mad grimey down and dirty, actin' real shady and slimy like "yo Blum, you be rappin' over J-Pop beats" yea, i do that sometimes, but i keep the lyricism complete a platinum tongue like Dabo when i rap which ensures that everything is certified crack but at the end of the day, whether friend or foe my only real advice is to just follow the flow (chorus)
