Hi! This is Charlie B., singer, songwriter, and guitar player for the band Freudian Press. I now play in the band The Sage Experiment. We play the Freudian Press catalog, and more! You can follow me at http://www.facebook.com/sageexperiment Freudian Press started in 1994, performing regularly for audiences in the midwest. The band has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years, and has gone from an acoustic-only band with two hand percussionists to an all-electric band with a set drummer.... all the while featuring both classic rock covers and my original songs. I am a self-taught musician, thus the reason for my playing a right-handed guitar upside-down, as a lefty. I have written and performed more than 50 original songs to date. I am also a published poet, and design and draw posters for Press shows. With a catalog of over 100 cover songs in addition to my original compositions, I'm never lacking material, and have performed in Freudian Press shows that lasted in excess of 5 hours. I am currently still writing, and recording sessions are in the works. The live songs presented on this site were all recording using a hand-held camcorder, and the studio songs were recorded in small home studios or in makeshift basement setups.

Lyrics
Mr. Lazy Bones, heard you singin' it's a high-head sunny day And if some trouble comes a'knockin', keep on smilin' 'til it's gone away Mr. Lazy Bones, steppin' out among the fine, fine people with the fine, fine feelin' I know I'm feelin' good and not a bit misunderstood And you know that I'll be laughin' all the way! We'll be singing and dreaming And laughin' and cryin' and lovin' and lyin', and flyin' as high as the sun in the sky And we're dreamin' and dancin' And twirlin' around to the craziest sounds in the world! Mr. Lazy Bones, seen him swinging like a see-saw swayin' with the moonlight playin' in the trees And all the leaves strike up a friendly melody Mr. Bones, he just sings himself to sleep Yes, I know we've seen some bad times, seen the storm clouds rollin' in But don't you worry if your sun ain't shinin', it'll rise up again Warming up them lazy bones Mr. Lazy Bones, steppin' out among the fine, fine people with the fine, fine feelin' I know I'm feelin' good and not a bit misunderstood Yeah, I know I'm gettin' older, but I'm not sure just exactly what it means For myself or just for anybody else But you know that we'll be laughing all the way We'll be singing and dreaming And laughin' and cryin' and lovin' and lyin', and flyin' as high as the sun in the sky And we're dreamin' and dancin' And twirlin' around to the craziest sounds in the world! Mr. Lazy Bones, heard you singin' it's a high-head sunny day And if you treat a man with kindness, good things are sure to come your way If you treat a man with kindness, good things are sure to come your way
