Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Abuse can take many forms, but it has always been said that emotional abuse is the worst, because it destroys self-esteem, confidence, and ultimately the very spirit of the person is at stake. This song comes from a situation that I had encountered through another person. The lady in question did leave her husband after many years of abuse, but when she did it, there was NO question that it was over. The bible says that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave His life for it. Wives are instructed to respect their husbands. Emotional abuse can and will happen but it is not only men that can abuse the precious person they've been given to cherish, but women can be and are guilty as well.
Lyrics
Tears filled her eyes, But she looked at him with love. "Why'd you do this to me, Tell me what have I done?" He said, "It's all your fault, You make me do the the things I do. If you were the perfect wife, I would not Have to 'help' you." As time went by, reality came. Everytime she met his goals, He always raised the stakes. At the bottom of her heart, Love died deep within. As she realized the games that he played, Would never end.....And she cried. (1st Chorus) He alone is responsible, For the choices that he makes. The more that she gives, So much more that he takes. She's at the end of her rope, No knots left to tie. And if he won't face the truth within himself, She'll just say goodbye. She said, "We need to change," "We can't remain as we are." He said, "Nothing's wrong with me." "Your mind is bizarre." She said, "I've had enough," And started for the door. He said, "You'll be back, I don't know what, You're leaving for.".....But she said (2nd Chorus) "You alone are responsible, For the choices that you make. The more that I give, The more you seem to take. I'm at the end of my rope, No knots left to tie And if you won't face the truth within yourself, I'll just say goodbye.... I'll just say goodbye..... Goodbye.

Hello Tammy, Love the piano work, sounds like a real grande....and your vocals are perty... How are things going with you? My project schedule just got lightened..... I called the Billtown Blues Association to find out where to send the demo cd and fee for the audition...And the deadline was Feb 1st.....and they already have picked the contestants.....LOL.....I am a little disappointed, but only a little.....now I can work on the other songs....:) It is snowing here, 6 inches of the pretty white stuff, I will soon have to go out and shovel it...and the head in to work.... I am taking a few days off from recording and singing....my voice is squeeky anyway and I can hear the breathing in the mic....but I am feeling a lot better today. I have off this weekend, so perhaps I can get ROF finished. I played along with the original track, so the timing should be right on.... Talk to you soon my friend, keeping you al in my prayers.. Have a wonderful day, :) Luv N Hug
