Song #2 2/1-2/06
this one here was inspired by listening to a fellow FAWMer's song Jeff Bail - The Truth, i really liked that one, check it out, just a drum machine and vocals/vocal harmony ....anyway i kept listening over and over to it, then picked up my guitar and was playing to it, he sang in key of B, and a simple but cool sounding rhythm i then came up with...
i then got to working in cubase to get this idea going, and typically even though i play guitar, i don't record live often, i compose and sequence by translating what i play and come up with on guitar by hand drawing the notes into cubase....i pretty much finished the instrumental and needed a title and yet another FAWMer inspiration came... he had the words "drifting along" in the lyrics of their song, so i snagged those words, and thats about that....all the things you hear are programmed and sequenced with many different Virtual Instruments(VSTi's) all in cubase, no live recording except for the vocals
