Contemporary Praise and Worship
I started writing music in 1998. I started with congregational praise and worship music, but recently have been writing and arranging what I affectionately call "Neo-Classical Folk." Have a listen to see what I mean.

Story behind the song
This is a fun blues in G. The lyrics are based on an old slave spirtual that I read in Dr. Tony Evans' Lets Get To Know One Another. I highly recommend this book to any "white" Christian who is interested in learning more about the culture of our bretheren of color.
Lyrics
I want Jesus to walk with me. I want Jesus to walk with me. All along my pilgrim’s journey I need to know that You are with me Jesus, come walk with me. In my trials, come walk with me. In my trials, come walk with me. When the shades of life are fallin’, And the darkness comes a-callin’ Jesus, come walk with me. Walked with my mother, He’ll walk with me. Walked with my father, He’ll walk with me. All along my pilgrim’s journey I need to know that You are with me Jesus, come walk with me.
