Story behind the song
Diamond is the third complete songs I ever wrote. This version is off my first Demo. I was in my early 20s when this version was recorded. Some people find it surprising it was recorded on a Fostex 4 track. I recorded 10 tracks...2 at a time and kept bouncing down to 2. A new version recorded in my new Digital home studio with updated lyrics and lower pitched vocals is in the works. The music remains basically the same as this version but with heavier guitars and higher quality processing. Still...this version holds a special place in my heart.
