The piano line from a classical piece - free for me to chop up without the Sample Police getting me!
I have always wanted to rearrange the original, there's a beautiful version recorded by b.l.o.w. on the PIGS album using the keys melody for the vocals, may have to have a take a closer look and see if I can drag anything from that version....this may be sacrilege however.
What else........errr......hmmm...
Oh, the beats! strung together with FruityLoops, gave me earache doing it.
The Bass, some sample found in the Gb's of wav+mp3 of my hard drive, tweaked and beefed up.
The rest, god knows. This one kind of evolved and took over my spare time, every night. Still working on it, I've got a couple of versions - one being an album version, I killed the Dj roll out breaks at the end and used something very special. No details to follow on this, personal cut, get lost and keep your nose out!
Still unsure about the half time drums, don't know if it's because I've heard it SO MANY times (literally had this looped for hours while working on it).
