Story behind the song

Fourth track off my new album.
The title is a homage to Huddie Ledbetter (or Leadbelly as he is more famously known), in particular a paraphrase of a line in his song "Goodnight Irene" as he originally performed it.
It's also, more obviously, a nod to the bad men of voodoo - the obiah men.
Dark, textural keyboards set the tone for this track which, to me, evoke a scene of voodoo incantation by an obiah man intent on causing harm.
