Pop rock with a classic flavor
I made a living playing music all over the US and Canada, for several years. During that time, I had the opportunity to play with The Shirelles, The Coasters, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Lou Christie, The Platters, Danny and the Juniors, The 5th Dimension, and Gary US Bonds. While I was on the road, I also had the opportunity to hang out with Joey Molland (Badfinger), Foghat, Reba, Marvin Gaye, Tom T. Hall, Ray Sawyer (Dr. Hook), Three Dog Night, Jan and Dean, Joey Dee, Al Rappa (Bill Haley's Comets) and Rare Earth, along with hundreds of other nice people (and 7 jerks). I just can't remember all their names right now. Everything you hear (all the vocals and instruments) was played by me, and recorded on a beat up Fostex X-15 four track cassette recorder in a small apartment. They came out pretty well, considering what I had to work with. They're Good Housekeeping approved and everything! Everyone who hears them agrees: Way better than a kick in the pants!

Lyrics
Sneaky Jake looks you in the eye with a smile And says, "Shall we discuss your situation a while?". Just go ahead and fill me in on all the details Stick with me, you can't go wrong, and we'll go all the way They call him Sneaky Jake Watch out for that snake Hey, Sneaky Jake He's the original fake He waters down reality, and sells it for truth And hides his true intentions all behind a veil of cool Keeps his alibis in a box on the shelf And lies so much, I think that he believes 'em himself Always stays in character, he plays it to a "t" Always on the lookout for a new way to deceive You never know just what he's hidin' up his sleeve But shine a spotlight down his pants And watch him do his little dance
