Today President Bush spoke at an International Women’s Day event,
Kind of like a surgeon who cures cancer with Pall Malls.
His visit comes one day after Women Make History, flattering or not.
Monday, South Dakota’s Choice Hating Governor signed into law, a near total-ban on abortions, even in cases of rape or incest—or torture, or kidnapping, or mutilation, or anything else you can imagine, really.
While the ban excuses the no-choice unless a mothers life is in danger, it also doesn’t allow even an argument to the more than ONE HALF MILLION cases of incest EVERY YEAR!
So, looking for some comfort, I decided to call a Reverend.. [audio]
Meet Rev Patrick Mahoney, Director of Christian Defense Coalition to take away a persons right to choose:

Unfortunately, Rev Mahoney was referring to the Women’s Right to have a Law banning their Choice on certain matters.
But enter SD Senator Bill Napoli to shore up a few misconceptions about the ban, and its special circumstances in a real life situation…

While Senator Napoli seems to have fantasized about this once too often, he also happens to be wrong. Dead Wrong, I guess you could say.
You see, the ONLY exception to this ban, is in a case where the mother’s life is in danger, and nothing to do with the brutality.
And that’s what we’re talking about here. Without having experienced a rape, you really have no idea do you? What would be the equivalent of a Man being raped? Not hard really. Just imagine an inademate object forced up there, where the sun doesn’t shine. Over and over.
So I had to ask: [audio] Do you think that if it were possible for a man to get pregnant from anal sex, that this law would protect them in cases of rape?

Oops.
I guess he’s right, who wants to talk about icky things like that.
From here, the Law will go through the variety of courts and eventually could wind up on the lap of the Surpreme court Judges…yep those Surpreme court Judges. The New Ones.
But until this gets overturned, we’ll just have to sit back, relax, and enjoy the rape.
