The Leano has been rapping for 6 years. Following a degree in Drama and English, the rapper has gone on to teach creative writing for Apples and Snakes in a range of different schools across the country. He has a loving fan base in the Northern City of Hull where he has been twice crowned Battle Champ. Recently, his album has been selling by the bucket load and has received airplay across many of the mainstream radio stations. The Leano brings conscious lyrics to sparse hip-hop beats capturing the viewpoint of middle-class Britain. The album takes us on a journey, from passionate tales of female woes to social and political incites, discussing issues such as sexuality, race and society.
