Story behind the song
Another idea of weirdness where melody ends up dictating melody. I was standing on my front porch speaking with a couple of friends when this melody line that became the chorus of this song hit me like a sledgehammer. It took me two weeks to figure out the rythym behind this melody and it was so simple that I was blown away. Right after that happened the rest of the song came together nicely, with Michael Doten, former partner in musical crime, added the part behind the lead guitar spot and the song was finished. Thanx Mike, we all appreciate that one!
