Story behind the song
To make a painfully long story short, the song is about a series of events that took place when my daughter was born (with a rare disease) and was hospitalized for months. Ironically, my mother was hospitalized at same time, with haunting connections between the two of them, came the ultimate end with the passing of one and the new life of another - hence, the Rhythm of A Life.... p e a c e. Lyrics
"Rhythm Of A Life" You watch the days turn into years And try to hide the fears Extraordinary consequences Feel the tension grow inside Anger, then you justify The reason, the explanation Right Before My Eyes... The Rhythm of My Life. Sometimes... I look at the people in my Life. Sometimes... I wonder who am I, Right Before My Eyes One by one we realize And struggle with the compromise Of certain resolution Day by day we hope to find I sift through the debris of my mind I hope to find.... The Rhythm of My Life Right Before My Eyes... Sometimes... I look at the people in my life Sometimes... so who am I. Right Before My Eyes Hand in hand we hold the line Knowing it’s the final time And feeling completely useless Right back where it all began The final hope, the final stand The reason... for the silence... Right Before My Eyes... The Rhythm of A Life
