Story behind the song
This song is in response to the loss of innocence that comes upon entering the "real world" of politics and problems. With so much misinformation and manipulation on every side, it's hard to know what to trust anymore. I feel like we've all been blinded by the right - whether that's in a political sense in terms of ultra-conservatism and religious dogma, or in the case of the media where the right to free speech has become a playground for sensationalism. We must have more self-respect than to stand for this kind of nonsense...
