Composer, arranger, woodwind performer
I am not a band but a composer, arranger and performer. Pieces that I will present are works that I have written. Some are symphonic in nature and others are more like ballads. All are composed and arranged using Finale to write the music, Tracktion 2 to sequence the music and Garritan Personal Orchestra to perform the music. I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy putting my ideas into sounds that are the rhythm, melody, and harmony of life.

Story behind the song
This piece got its inspiration from reading Persichetti's book on "20th Century Tonality". Early in the book he describes scales and modes along with consonants and dissonants. I was intrigued to find out about the hungarian major scale. I had known the hungarian minor scale and had practiced it often on the clarinet. I didn't realize there was a major scale version of it. I used this scale as a basis and developed chords for each note of the scale including the 7th, 9th and 11th in the chords. I then set out to use the scale in a contemporary setting and mixed some odd meters together. I hope yo like it!
