Two members of the band recorded this in 2005. The words really describe how one can get caught up in the world and yet keep wondering if they are the same person they've always been

Story behind the song
The words really describe how one can get caught up in the world and yet keep wondering if they are the same person they've always been (and yet very much like their father). This was co-written by Kevin Zarnett and Lewis Brian Maxwell.
Lyrics
- DO YOU EVER REALLY GO HOME? - © 2003 Kevin Zarnett/Brian Maxwell I study the leaves That bury this street As the sun burns down The wind aches the trees Not the boy I was Thick skins have changed Not the man I want to be Some things stay the same Time, distance and hair so long But not all that’s grown Do you ever really go home? A man in a cage When I lost met this door Bursting thru in a rage A free-bird with the world to explore Bridge: I’ve stood here So many times before But today it seems like new In finding out who I was I discovered most of who I am I learned from you As I study a leaf Lost in the wind It twists and it turns And it finds its’ way back again Why it took so to figure out I don’t quite know Do you ever really go home Bridge (instrumental only) to end Registered: SOCAN 02/18/2004 #31043436
