“A newer demo of a song I first wrote in 1988 and first performed in 1990 with the band Guilty Party. I always wanted to replace the synthesized scratch ‘guitar’ tracks with a proper electric guitar, but never got around to it. Now, I’m used to the electronic sound of it, and I think it brings something different to the song, and also helps distance this arrangement from the original Guilty Party version, which stands on its own merit.”
