Story behind the song
Early recording. Another song where the music came first. I was experimenting with a rhythm guitar progression that I could use to practice some lead guitar. I found the initial lead riff and and then kept developing it. I liked it so I began to create the song and the rest of the parts. This is the third song where I used a bass guitar, the first being Ugly Great Brute. The lyrics came last as is usual for me. I dont have problems with technology and dont have any sympathy for the Uni-bomber or his anti-tech views. The words just kinda drove me down the anti-tech path so I wrote them. When I write lyrics, I dont worry whether or not I agree with or believe in what I am writing. When I listen to music, some of my favorite songs are songs that I totally disagree with message wise. So what? Its still a good song.
