This is a one-man studio-based outfit which has two streams. One is to produce songs, with vocals, in a fairly conventional format, that you might expect a "real" band to play. The other is to produce instrumentals with experimental electronic sounds, the stranger the better, but hopefully still appealing. I love that virtual world full of beauty and weirdness. Perhaps that's where I'll go when I die.

Story behind the song
One early evening years ago I looked up and saw a light moving across the dark sky. It wasn't until I heard the jet engines that I realized there was a plane up there still in the light of the sun, though it was dark on the ground. It made me think how even if you feel trapped in darkness, if you keep your eyes open you can see a way out to faraway places. As Oscar Wilde said (and so did Patti Smith later), we are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
Lyrics
The suburbs are in darkness and the stars begin to glint And it feels like night the closer with its television hint But way above the ghostly clouds a steady moving light It creeps across the firmament, in and out of sight Far above the rooftops is a distant roaring jet An aircraft in the stratosphere where it is not dark yet The passengers are flying and the sun reflects the fact To us static ones in the suburbs, and some of us will act (Chorus) I want to fly across the night sky Never die up in the night sky
