This is me - my life in the form of music. Although my favorite type of music is progressive rock, I also liking writing solo acoustic songs, and have made some attempts at creating a few techno/industrial instrumental songs.

One nation, founded on principles of acceptance, the best intentions,
Once established, to escape the persecution and perseverance of the church,
I know myself, I've tried to escape it so many times, had to leave my home,
But where to go, when the places all around you don't welcome your kind?
It's all a farse, to have come so far and turn into what we tried to leave behind,
Now it seems, the personification of our own self-hate is well and alive...
Irony is the sunlight beaming down from the sky warming our lives,
And with that same embrace, to pass judgement so everyone else is denied.
The cold discomfort of isolation from have to hide just to survive,
The glow of the morning covered by their lies, just fear in disguise.
Is this the way we think?
Isn't there a better way?
Have serendipitous solutions lost their visibility,
To everyone, or is it just me?
I step outside into the sunlight,
The hues of nature reflecting in my eyes, reflecting in my mind the way I realize,
Many never have this opportunity, many never have this chance to see what I see,
Just open your eyes...
