Story behind the song

I was thinking one day... what would the world be like if WW2 had been won by the Nazi's?  What would our country be like?  What would I be like? The thought stuck with me for the duration of the day, and I was so caught up in it I decided to write a song in dedication to all the men (from both sides) who died for what they believed in.  War is a waste, but when your fighting to preserve a way of life, and in the long run freedom, then it's a cause I salute.

Lyrics

Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilisation.  If we can stand up, and fight for the World, then we can move forward, into broad sunlight uplands.  Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty.

We shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall fight on the beaches we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets we shall fight in the hills, and we shall never surrender!

This, was their finest hour!
