Story behind the song
Took backing track from internet and played lead over the top. Strat into the pod xtLive. Sitting at my computer with my feet up on the bed - at about 2:30am. 1 glass of wine is all it takes for me to get inspired... I did 3 takes, this was the 1st one. I kind of messed up the end (I was sliding off my chair...), but it's all good... The 2nd take sounded a litte too rehearsed. I kind of like the off notes once in a while - they keep it sounding live. Ok, so I screwed up a little -and am too lazy to re-do it... The 3rd take was with a clean sound on my guitar. Like the traditional recording. It sounded ok, but I always like the distortion and delay... that way the guitar kind of plays itself -and I just hang on for the ride...
