Story behind the song
This track was recorded on the tail end of finishing the "Set Me Free" album with Caged Fury. I laid down all the guitar and vocal tracks, thought it came out very well. STORY: I was always being picked on about my music and my "wanting" to be a rock star status in high school. So, I wrote this song for all the kids just like me so that when they do make it (no matter what that might be), they can look back on the Naysayers and say, look at me now! Has an interesting ending that is abrupt. I did this on purpose. Some fans thought their CD was bad, I thought it was cool and different.
Lyrics
Mister rainmaker, why don't you find someone, else to rain on. Mister painmaker, take your pills, and be gone. Be gone. Someday I'll walk by you, someday I'll pass by you. Someday, I'll walk by you. Someday I'll, walk by you. Into a different light. Someday I'll pass by you. Won't you wave as I pass you by? Someday I'll, walk by you. Mister tearmaker, the salt burns my eyes. Burns my eyes. Dry them. Mister fearmaker, you will fear my cries. All the cries. Fear them. And forever know. Someday I'll walk by you, someday I'll pass by you. Someday, I'll walk by you. Someday I'll, walk by you. Into a different light. Someday I'll pass by you. Won't you wave as I pass you by? Someday I'll, walk by you. (SOLO) Someday I'll walk by you, someday I'll pass by you. Someday, I'll walk by you. Someday I'll, walk by you. Into a different light. Someday I'll pass by you. Won't you wave as I pass you by? Someday I'll!
