well, just thought it'd be fun to try and write some stuff, none of it will ever go commercial, and i don't plan to do anything spectacular, as it's just me fooling around.

Story behind the song
well, yes obviously this is a christian song, inspired by 'this is a call' by tfk, and innocent by our lady peace, the basic premise is that how we live our lives effects our bodies and our souls (the nations) and striving for one thing that much removes all sensations but the ones connected to it, and when it proves to be something useless 'snap' we lose it. so yeah, that's where the bridge of the song pretty much explains everything else.
Lyrics
oh she sits at the side of her bed in her hands she holds her head her mind is disconnected from her heart. She reached our for his hand, hoping he would help her stand but he tore her down and left her in the end. Chorus1 caus she's stuck in oblivion, of her reckless nation oblivion of all sensation oblivion of reckless nations oblivion to all sensations oh he sits just him and the knife he wants to end his life he was striving for a wealth he'd never know as the steel slips deep within he's awash in a deadly grin he never knew the one who could make him whole Chorus2 cause he's stuck in oblivion, of his reckless nation oblivion of all sensation oblivion of reckless nations oblivion to all sensations bridge-- so take up your cross tell them of His wonderous love He longs for them to live He's willing to forgive and end the suffering Chorus3 say goodbye to oblivion of our reckless nations to the oblivion of all sensations no more oblivion of all our reckless nations and oblvion of all sensations. (repeat until end and fade) lead them to him, He'll free them then.
