Story behind the song
This song is about some of my heros that either hail from my home state of Alabama, or had a direct impact on the music industry!

(chorus) Sweet sounds from Alabam you can still hear those songs today. Hank Williams from Montgomery town Wet Willie down on Mobile Bay.
Those Fort Payne boys up on lookout mountain,
you really couldn't get much higher. And those T-town boys called the Sanford-Townsend Band singing Smoke from a distant fire.
(bridge-1)(chorus)
Bridge-2) Muscle Shoals Sound it was the place to be. Crankin out the number one's just like a well oiled machine. With the Swamper's layin down the rhythym to each and every song. Duane Allman came to town turned it upside down playin his guitar like no one had ever seen.
