I'm a 49 year old part-time musician/songwriter with several years of various experiences. My ultimate goal is to have some songs published and recorded. Story behind the song
The basic chord/guitar thing came first. The words took a bit of work. The first shot was a very different song...but it was too 'shoot for the stars' type of a song. I wanted a guy/woman song so rewrote some. The dream portion remained. After the rewrite, I did another major scrub of the song to fix a variety of 'tense' issues that resulted with the story and the dream part of the song. This one was a challenge.
