Story behind the song
The song is a bit tongue and cheek and dramatic, but in the story, Jazz Hands is character that is a vagrant in the town of Black Hills. He is a war vet that never quite went back to the way he was before the war, and can be seen roaming the streets - seemingly without purpose. In this song, he experiences a flashback from being in the jungle.
