Hi, I've been writing songs since I was twelve years old, and recording them since 1985. Roger Cook (of the Cook-Greenaway-Cook songwriting partnership and Blue Mink, etc) once wrote that I have the ability to write a hit single and that he was waiting for one from me. He also said I need to 'lighten up a bit', unquote. F*ck that!

Story behind the song
This is the only proper love song I've managed to write, after many attempts to do so. I was trying to think of how to write a love song, and the 'ooh baby I love you' approach is something that causes tooth decay. Out the blue it came to me: there's this guy who is on a spiritual quest, life after life for thousands of lives, and he is nearly at his goal of enlightenment or whatever. Then he sees her and enlightenment can wait, for hundreds of lifetimes if necessary, until the end of time. Now that's what I call long-term thinking, and also what true love is all about: a meeting of souls for all eternity...

Beautiful song! The vocals, the lovely harmonies make the song for me, I'm way big into harmonies and you melded such sweet ones here. Has a Lennon quality to the song, wonderful lyrics....great production! :) I will be back again sometime to hear more! take care, ~strummergurl~
